Stoeger's M3000 is the 3-inch version of its 12 gauge semi-auto field gun. This one has a 28-inch vent rib barrel with a removable choke, a chamber for 2 3/4 and 3-inch shells, a fiber-optic front sight and synthetic stock and forend in Realtree MAX-7 camouflage with a 14.5-inch length of pull. Supplier status is new; the image is a stock photo.

A camouflaged 3-inch 12 gauge is about as standard a New Jersey deer gun as there is. With slugs or buckshot it covers the six-day firearm season of December 7 to 12, 2026 and the permit shotgun seasons that run late November through February in the High-set zones of the northwest, with the usual three-shell limit. If you have no use for 3 1/2-inch loads, the 3-inch chamber is all the gun you need for slugs and buckshot.
