A used Winchester Model 1300, serial L3013392, a modern-production 12 gauge pump-action shotgun with a 28-inch vent rib barrel, 3-inch chamber and an extended screw-in choke. The metal is matte black and the checkered synthetic stock and forend measure 14 inches in length of pull. Condition is very good with an excellent bore.

A pump 12 gauge is the general-purpose New Jersey shotgun. With slugs or buckshot it is legal for deer, since the state allows 20 to 10 gauge shotguns holding no more than three shells, and the 28-inch vent rib barrel and screw-in choke make it just as useful for birds and clays the rest of the year. It can be carried in the six-day firearm season of December 7 to 12, 2026, and in the permit shotgun seasons that run from late November into February in the High-set zones of the northwest. The synthetic furniture is a practical choice for wet weather.
