A Smith & Wesson 686-3 from around the 1980s, serial BES9559, chambered in .357 Magnum with a 6-inch barrel. The revolver is single and double action on a stainless steel frame, wears black grips, and has an adjustable rear sight paired with an orange front sight. Wear is light on the grip and frame, the rear sight shows wear of its own, the bore is very good, and overall it rates good.
A 6-inch stainless .357 is a range and home revolver for a New Jersey owner: it handles .357 Magnum when you want it and sits well in the hand for long sessions. The orange front blade is quick to find against a dark target, and the adjustable rear lets you correct for the load you settle on, allowing for the wear noted. It is a used working revolver with honest wear, not a collector-grade example, and it has plenty of service left in it.
This revolver ships to the New Jersey FFL dealer you name, where you show your permit and complete Form 4473.
