Q & A
Is this a “binary” or “forced reset” trigger?
No. The FRT-15L3™ is a standard, semi-automatic, single-stage trigger group. It fires one round per deliberate pull of the trigger and requires a full reset before another round can be fired. It is designed for reliable semi-automatic function.
Does it work with all AR-15 lowers?
It is designed for standard mil-spec AR-15 lower receivers. Our staff has noted a slightly tighter fit in some Gen4-style frames compared to Gen5, but this does not affect function—it’s simply a noticeable difference in installation feel. It will not fit proprietary systems that deviate significantly from the mil-spec pattern.
What is the installation process?
Installation is straightforward: drive out your factory trigger and hammer pins, remove the old components, and install the FRT-15L3™ group in their place. Ensure the disconnector and springs are oriented correctly. Always function test your firearm safely after any modification.
