Q & A
Is this a binary or burst trigger?
No. The FRT-15L3 is a three-position trigger with Safe, a traditional Semi-Auto mode, and a proprietary Forced Reset Trigger (FRT) mode. It is not a binary trigger (which fires on both pull and release) and does not produce controlled bursts.
What tools are needed for installation?
You will need basic armorer’s tools: a hammer and punch set to drive out your factory trigger and hammer pins. The FRT-15L3 module then drops into your lower receiver, and the included anti-walk pins are secured with the provided hex key.
Will this work with my .22 LR AR-15 conversion?
Function can vary. While it may work in Semi-Auto mode, the FRT mode typically requires standard 5.56/.223 pressure and carrier mass to cycle the mechanism correctly. We recommend testing with your specific setup.
