❌ Cons:

• Heavy Subsonic Sensitivity: As mentioned in our staff testing, we experienced one failure with a specific 147gr subsonic load. If you plan to run heavy subsonics exclusively, you may need to test your preferred brand or consider a pistol with a different recoil spring system.

Skip the M400-SDI X if: Your sole purpose is to shoot suppressed with heavy subsonic ammunition and you’re unwilling to potentially swap springs or test multiple ammo brands. If you must have an optics-ready slide from the factory, this isn’t it. Also, if you’re on an extremely tight budget and are willing to sacrifice some fit, finish, and trigger quality for a lower price point, there are more basic options.
