This process bonds the colored metallic layer at a molecular level, creating an extremely hard, scratch-resistant, and corrosion-resistant surface far more durable than any cerakote or anodizing.
Is this a good choice for a first-time pistol owner?
It can be, with the right mindset. The manual safety and 1911-style controls are straightforward to learn. However, its small size requires dedicated practice to master grip and recoil management. If you’re willing to put in the range time, it’s a superb, high-quality option.
