The Bird Dog BD-9 is a Houston-built semi-automatic carbine in 9mm with a 16.5-inch barrel and an anodized finish. A 15.5-inch M-LOK handguard covers most of the barrel, and the grip and stock are from Thril. One magazine is included. The supplier lists the carbine as new, and the photo is a stock image.

A pistol-caliber carbine is a range gun in New Jersey, where rifles are not legal for deer; what it offers is a long sight radius and a shoulder stock with 9mm recoil, which is easy on the shoulder and easy on new shooters. The long M-LOK rail leaves room for a light, a hand stop or a sling mount wherever you want them, and the 16.5-inch barrel keeps the overall length modest in a case. It is a straightforward club carbine with the configuration already sorted.
