Q & A
Will this pistol work with aftermarket M&P frames or grip modules?
No, it will not. The M&P9 M2.0 Metal uses a unique, one-piece aluminum frame. We had a customer return one stating it was “too tight,” which we traced to an attempt to fit it to an aftermarket polymer frame. It is designed to function only with its original, serialized metal frame.
What optics mount directly to this slide?
The slide is milled specifically for the Aimpoint ACRO P-2 footprint. Other optics, like Trijicon RMR or Holosun 509T models, will require an adapter plate, which are available from several manufacturers.
Is the trigger different from the standard polymer M&P 2.0?
No, it features the same hinged, flat-faced trigger with a clear wall and crisp break that is standard across the current M&P 2.0 pistol line. The pull weight is typically in the 5-6 lb range out of the box.
