What ammunition does it run best with?
Based on our staff’s extensive handling, this M17 runs flawlessly with standard 115gr and 124gr FMJ range ammunition. We experienced one hiccup with a specific brand of 147gr subsonic loads during testing, so we recommend sticking with NATO-spec or common range ammo for optimal reliability.
Is the manual safety easy to operate?
Yes. The ambidextrous safety lever has a positive, crisp engagement and disengagement. It’s designed to be manipulated naturally with your thumb during a proper firing grip without altering your hold.
Does it come with a case and accessories?
It ships in a SIG hard case with two magazines (17-round and 21-round), a cable lock, and the optics cover plate installed on the slide.
